If you’re clients are expedition cruise enthusiasts, you can now plan their next adventure well in advance as Swan Hellenic announces its 2026-2027 Antarctic season. The cruise line is offering 24 expert-led voyages, allowing travelers to explore the remote wilderness of Antarctica while enjoying the line’s all-inclusive luxury service.
Swan Hellenic’s small-ship expeditions aboard the vessels SH Vega and SH Diana have capacities of only 152 and 192 guests, respectively. These 5-star sister ships sail into the Antarctic Circle and their limited capacity means availability is expected to fill quickly—especially with bookings for the line’s 2025-2026 Antarctic season already exceeding 60%.
Voyages into the Antarctic
The 2026-2027 season features 24 round-trip voyages departing from Ushuaia, Argentina. Travelers can choose from five curated itineraries exploring the Antarctic Peninsula, including three routes that venture into the Weddell Sea—an area famed for its connection to the legendary Shackleton Expedition.
Swan Hellenic is also introducing expert-led snowshoeing expeditions. These guided treks, suitable for both beginners and experienced adventurers, will last approximately 90 minutes and provide a unique perspective of Antarctica’s snow-covered landscapes.
In addition to the Antarctic Peninsula voyages, the program includes a 20-night South Atlantic cruise aboard SH Diana, sailing from Cape Town to Ushuaia. This journey will visit remote destinations like Saint Helena, Ascension Island, Tristan da Cunha, South Sandwich Islands and South Georgia Island—Shackleton’s final resting place.
