Variety Cruises is marking its 75th anniversary with an innovative Uncharted Cruise departing from Athens on Aug. 23, 2024. This 8-day voyage, hosted by CEO Filippos Venetopoulos, offers travel advisors a unique option for clients seeking adventure and philanthropy.

Variety Cruises’ Itinerary Under Wraps
The itinerary remains undisclosed until 24 hours before each destination, adding an element of surprise for passengers. The cruise aims to provide in-depth cultural experiences at each stop, including interactive workshops and shore excursions.
The package includes accommodation in double or twin cabins; daily breakfast and one additional meal; welcome cocktail, Greek Night, BBQ and Captain’s Dinner; use of fishing and snorkeling equipment; and select shore excursions with meals at local restaurants
The Uncharted Cruise will take place aboard the M/Y Variety Voyager, a 36-cabin mega yacht. Onboard amenities include a 360° Sun Deck, premium bar and lounge, and a spa & fitness suite with gym equipment and sauna.
Of note: All profits from this cruise will be directed to Variety Cares, the company’s non-profit foundation. This organization focuses on initiatives promoting clean oceans, gender equality and universal education. Past projects include constructing The Lamin Koto School in Gambia’s Kuntaur village, which now provides education and clean water to 100 students.
The foundation is currently expanding its educational efforts with the Rose Museum, a facility under construction at the school. This building will house artifacts donated by the Explorers Club, enhancing learning opportunities for local students.
