Hapag-Lloyd Cruises has officially launched its 2026/2027 season, featuring itineraries that span the globe. Running from Sept. 2026 to Oct. 2027, this new season caters to international travelers on EUROPA 2 and HANSEATIC inspiration providing a seamless bilingual (German/English) experience.
Global Experiences at Sea
EUROPA 2 introduces a fresh line-up of destinations, spanning the Atlantic, Indian and Pacific Oceans. In Fall 2026, the EUROPA 2 will depart the Mediterranean, sailing to the Canary Islands before embarking on a journey around Africa, visiting new ports including Dakar, Banjul, São Tomé and Zanzibar.
Hapag-Lloyd’s 2026 Christmas cruise blends tropical beaches with Asian metropolises. The journey includes stops at Singapore, the Seychelles, the Maldives, Thailand and Malaysia for a 20-day Indian Ocean adventure. New destinations on the EUROPA 2 include Western Australia, Papua New Guinea and Palau in Spring 2027.
The HANSEATIC inspiration is ready to take guests to locations like the Antarctic, Iceland and Greenland. Explore the icy wonders of Antarctica and the Arctic, where guests can navigate the Weddell Sea and Antarctic Circle, and take in the beauty of Svalbard and Greenland. New for this season, the Iceland & Greenland Premiere introduces an itinerary from Reykjavik to Kangerlussuaq, showcasing the best of Iceland and Greenland’s western fjords.
Travelers can also embark on a rare journey through The Great Lakes of North America, reaching as far as Lake Superior with thrilling Zodiac excursions and guided wilderness hikes. This unique expedition will feature two itineraries in 2026 and four in 2027. Some featured itineraries include:
- Expedition Antarctica – Weddell Sea Intensive – Ushuaia roundtrip (Dec 13, 2026 – Jan 4, 2027, 22 Days.
