Luxury travel company Classic Vacations has officially partnered with Project Expedition, a leading platform for discovering and booking excursions and tours. This integration enables travel advisors to seamlessly include premium tours and activities in client itineraries.
“For nearly 50 years, Classic Vacations has been dedicated to a customer-driven strategy, and we remain steadfast in our goal to exceed Travel Advisors’ expectations,” said Melissa Krueger, CEO of Classic Vacations, in a press statement. “This collaboration represents a significant leap in our commitment to Travel Advisors by putting modern technology at their fingertips. Every phase of the Classic Vacations digital transformation is guided by Advisors. In fact, it was our Advisors who suggested that we partner with Project Expedition. Now they can book thousands of amazing experiences using our upgraded booking platform.”
Classic Vacations Enhances Luxury Travel Offerings
The new partnership adds to Classic Vacations’ extensive portfolio of curated hotels, air travel and transportation. Project Expedition brings in its vast network of experiences, with new options added regularly from top-rated partners. Travel advisors can now integrate world-class excursions, tours, day passes, multi-day trips, private and group attractions and ticketed events directly into client itineraries through Classic Vacations.
“Our partnership with Classic Vacations opens up a world of possibilities for Travel Advisors,” said Rob Keen, co-founder of Project Expedition, in a press statement. “By integrating our extensive inventory of curated experiences with Classic Vacations’ renowned booking platform, we’re collectively empowering Advisors to create more robust itineraries that truly elevate the luxury travel experience.”
The upgraded booking platform streamlines the experience for travel advisors, allowing them to earn commissions while providing clients with seamless itineraries. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in travel advisor technology and includes thousands of selected experiences from Project Expedition, which are already available in destinations like Europe, the Caribbean, Hawaii and Mexico.
Advisors can now package exclusive experiences and activities in destinations such as Rome, Paris, St. Lucia, and Maui. For example, private sightseeing tours of Rome’s Colosseum, the Sistine Chapel and the Vatican are available. Similarly, walking tours in Paris, including the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre, or island tours in St. Lucia, are now accessible.
Classic Vacations continues to invest in technology and online features to support luxury travel advisors. This includes enhancements to push itineraries through AXUS integration, a new Classic VIP Connect program, and a booking platform that allows for the curation of multiple destinations in one itinerary.
